Yesterday The IP Company participated in the annual Professor Kooy Symposium, an event organized in collaboration with TNO, NVDO, Mars & Mercurius, NLR and APA. This year, the focus was on the “Smart Defense Industry’,” with an emphasis on accelerating innovation and production in this sector.
Speakers such as Bart Groothuis, Member of the European Parliament, and distinguished executives from the defense industry came together to discuss technological advancements and developments.
The message for the Defense industry was: In light of global dynamics, it’s imperative to prioritise local and European-based production. Moreover, the urgency of modern threats demands that the Ministry of Defense expedite procurement processes to avoid technological disadvantages against potential anemies. Collaboration with industry partners is more crucial than ever.
