Last week, I had the privilege of attending the annual NIDV Captain’s Dinner in Noordwijk, an exclusive event bringing together CEOs, managing directors, and navy officers to exchange ideas about the naval sector in a different setting over dinner.
The table guests were well selected by those who arranged the seating, providing for meaningful discussions. In the first round, I sat next to Corine Schippers, Director of the National Cyber & Security Center, and in the second round, I sat next to Gerben Edelijn, CEO of Thales Netherlands, Hans Buurman of KPN and Rene Tas Commander Royal Netherlands Navy.
Reflecting on the event, I can say it was an evening that provided new insights and enjoyable conversations.
