This year marked 10 years since the tall ships last sailed into Amsterdam for SAIL Amsterdam. With the city also celebrating its 750th anniversary, we knew it had to be a special day for our colleagues, customers, and resellers.
On Wednesday 20 August, 60 enthusiastic guests travelled by bus from our office to IJmuiden. From there, we boarded two former lifeboats and embarked on a six-hour journey among the majestic tall ships on the way to Amsterdam.
To make the day even more memorable, we enjoyed live music from a saxophonist, a jazz singer, and a DJ on board. With lunch at sea and delicious snacks in the late afternoon, the atmosphere was truly unforgettable. Looking back, it was a fantastic event full of great people, incredible energy, and memories we won’t soon forget.
During SAIL Amsterdam 2025, we also had the pleasure of accompanying Damen Naval on a special afternoon. The event included a boat tour along the impressive tall ships, followed by a unique dinner in a dry dock — right underneath a large ship. Dining with around 300 people in such an extraordinary setting, and with the excellent table setting carefully planned by Damen Naval, made it a truly remarkable experience.
