Shaping the Navy of 2050

At The IP Company, we are proud to be part of the Dutch Naval Design Programme, a collaboration between industry and the Ministry of Defence that explores what the Royal Netherlands Navy could look like in 2050.

One of the projects we are working on with TNO and other partners is RAS (Replenishment At Sea), which focuses on optimising the supply of fuel and goods at sea. This initiative is helping the Navy operate more efficiently and reliably during long missions.

To see how this works in practice, we recently visited the training centre in Den Helder. A short video, featuring a departing submarine in the background, offers a glimpse into the process we are helping to improve.

Innovation, collaboration, and a clear vision of the future are at the heart of our work — driving The IP Company to deliver solutions that prepare the Navy for 2050 and beyond.
